The Book Exchange Coffee & Wine Club

The MD BOOK EXCHANGE & WINE CLUB is a whole new way to conduct a book/reading club and meet new people along the way. At this event, you will be introduced to at least three new books while sharing one of your favorite books with others. Each attendee is asked to bring a book you've read (or are currently reading) and tell why you enjoyed it.

HOW THE BOOK EXCHANGE WORKS: After introducing the book you brought you will be paired with another attendee whose pitch you liked. You will then read each other’s book during the READING PERIOD (10 minutes) in which the room is silent. After the reading period ends you go into the DISCUSSION PERIOD (10 minutes) to discuss the passages read out of each other's book.

While at the event enjoy great coffee from DOPE Coffee, sip some wine, and peruse the wide selection of books at Baldwin's Literary Social. Baldwin's carries a HUGE inventory of used and new books. Bring in your old books for store credit!
