Advanced Radio Production
Service Description
Building on the fundamentals learned in the Basic Radio Production course, students will continue the learning with the knowledge and skills required to be a successful radio production staff member. Students will learn Advanced Radio Technology Production Techniques, Interviewing, Dress, Critical Thinking and on Air Delivery. Students will learn to K.O.P.E. (Knowledge of Radio Broadcasting, Operations/Technical Engineering, Professionalism and Promotions, and Broadcasting Etiquette). Upon completion, students will qualify for possible internship opportunities at local radio stations. Instructor: Chelsea Speaks A graduate of CSB School of Broadcasting, Speaks served as an intern on the Frank & Wanda Morning Show at V-103 in Atlanta. This experience led her to a career in broadcasting and after years of working for other stations and communications outlets, she launched 101 TKO Radio. She has extensive experience in the entertainment industry as an artist, manager, branding consultant, voice-over artist, and radio personality and host. As the owner of TKO radio her ultimate goal is to provide others the opportunity to advance their passions on her platform.
